It's another beetle

Here is another Hercules beetle I found at Burke Park.

My dad found at Fort Belvoir, VA. and brought it home for me to study.

Finally got a large beautiful butterfly!

What can I say...moths love my front door.

Moth and Lizard

I opened the front door the other morning and this Tiger moth landed right at my feet.

This blue tailed skink was at the mini golf course. Also saw one with an orange head but couldn't get a pic of it.

Also wanted to note that a couple of weeks ago I saw a brown stink bug laying eggs on a Hosta leaf. Looked like very tiny sliver beads. Some have hatched into little bitty red bugs.
